The only flaw of that feature is that ya still see the mental tripe of the ignored if someone quotes them .
Let's go Brandon

Ya I have a few on here they just don’t jive with anything I find true or interesting or are just here playing reindeer games to make themselves feel better in some way. The people that ask endless questions to see if you’ll jump through their hoops but won’t answer any questions themselves. If you do answer their question then they ask another question then and forget about the previous one it’s just a waste of time.
The ones that get me are the ones that go out of their way to make you look bad anyway they can but help nobody. Some turn what you said into what you did not say just to do that. Sometimes it easier to not post, reply or comment to avoid the manipulation or games. I start posts that I never finish to avoid the hassles more and more.
People that seek info but don’t search the web so others have to do the work for them is another peeve.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

The takeaway for me is that this is just the internet, and people will say things here they would never say face to face.
Never used the ignore feature on anyone, because it's just not that personal of a situation where it's overly uncomfortable, or causes any distress.
Prefer seeing whatever any particular person has to say to get a fuller understanding of all that pertains to the subject at hand.

I come here for knowledge and entertainment. Not for seeing what the nitwits and mental midgets have to say. Walleyed if you are referring to me he is not on the list.

Not necessarily, I most certainly would say what I say to someone's face and more if the spirit moved. However, I believe most of us approach things as we would offline with polite circumspection unless provoked. At least I do. I can bite my tongue, or still my thumb in this case, on the first or occasional asinine commentary but when a troll repeatedly trolls for the sake of trolling then it's on like chuck.

I only use the ignore feature on one person. You all can probably guess who that is. Nothing he has to say is of any interest to me and the ignore feature allows me the opportunity to not have to see his trolling, his useless, libtard drivel and his crying about being the victim when he receives criticism.
Unfortunately, as Scuba pointed out, folks quoting him make his idiotic posts visible me.
And lots of folks quote him. They play his game The same game over and over and over. If folks would just stop responding to him, he'd go seek attention elsewhere.
Eh...wot?

I don't use the feature. If I don't want to read a person's response, I don't read it.
Edit..., spell check took down a members post from earlier. Won't mention name though.. Lol lol lol.

I've never used the ignore feature. I either laugh at the post and move on or fully engage. After all...this is social media....no need to get angry with idiots.

Hate to bust your bubble but the spell check is still up I deleted a post I made because I’m trying not to stoop to your level of poking at you first in any thread . My mouthing concerning you is after you mouth off something that’s doesn’t apply to subject. But now I know how to shut you up. Just point out you want to be called mr 400 bunghole. I guess you that’s what they call you at your favorite all male strip club . Do you have a plaque on their wall fir that achievement?

A website like this about a subject like trapping that is already heavily politicized by larger society is going to generate a lot of political discussion, no matter what.
Political discussion can get heated, and that is ok by me. Some people have less comfort debating heavy issues.
Every website I use has one or two leftists who will not bend, will not retreat, will not ever concede a point, but who rather act like broken records. And they cite broken sources like the New York Times and MSNBC as if these are credible arbiters of truth and accuracy. Their role on each website is so consistent that I often wonder if they are paid activists, who pose as trappers, or pose as gun owners, or pose as old car enthusiasts, but whose real job is to keep an eye on things and report back to whomever they report to, stir things up among normal patriotic Americans, disgorge as much leftist nonsense as they can, and just be a pain to people who would otherwise prefer to be left alone.
Finally, America is in huge trouble and a lot of people know it. Especially here, in this group. There is a sense of desperation among many who cling to their guns and Bibles, especially about the upcoming November referendum on whether America will still have real elections, or not.
So, no ignore button for me, thank you. I prefer to know where my enemy is and what he is doing.

None, although I wish 2 or 3 would put 99% of us on ignore.

I like reading opposing view points. If you pay attention, you can learn something. You're a slow learner then.
