The Buffalo Bills are offering to pay $20/hour to shovel snow at their stadium prior to their game on Sunday. The cynic in me thinks that not many will take advantage of the offer. That sure beats the pants off pitching manure at the neighbors farm for $2.50 hour back in the mid 80s. Id be all over that if I was a young welp living nearby.

It would be a great fundraiser for a group just not many folks see work as any kind of opportunity as work is for suckers to them.

When I was young. The stadium would pay you per hour and give you a ticket in.

Usually lots of people show up. Enough to shovel the whole stadium. For the Bills/ Pittsburgh game not a lot showed but there was a county wide travel ban on and they were handing out lots of tickets if you drove. Got 4 to 6 feet of snow and the wind was howling. Visibility was zero most places. I think they'll pelt the snot out of Swifts viewing booth with snowballs till they start ejecting people

If i was young. Also, i would hold out for at least a cheap seat. Backbreaking work. I'd make it worth my time.

I was still on the "Work Roster" for the old Met stadium in Bloomington - When the Dome collapsed in Murderapolis, I Got a call and ended up shoveling snow 'n ice Up on top of the Dome . We rode up through a hidden ramp to the top edge then we had to out on fall gear with a 10' chain we were hooked to a lightning rod each of us shoveling to the end of our chain . the next guy moved it same to the end. The tear was over 12 feet and the last guy shovelEd it down onto the field and a Bobcat moved it there.

I remember 9 hours at $8.50 Per hour...good money

When the Packers make the offer to shovel at Lambeau, they have to turn people away! Every body wants to shovel snow in Green Bay.

I believe all volunteers also- no one gets paid.

My grandmother lives there and she said yesterday they showed it on the news and she said all kinds of people were shoveling.

Pretty sure they get paid.

Google search said 12 bucks an hour in green bay.

while they did say Buffalo was going to have wind , they were talking a balmy 24

we though 16 and sunny was mighty nice here today back to 6 now that the sun set

Why don't they have some of the illegals they are housing there do some and they could get paid at the same time?

I would do it once just to say I've done it.
