From the sounds of it they pretty much quit when they came back from half time. Maybe they'll apologize to the city of Detroit and their fans for quitting, because What I did see they pretty much owned the 49ers during first half

They got complacent and figured they had it in the bag.
And how can a team piddle-**** around for 20 minutes and then go down the field and score a TD in a minute?

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Two field goals could have won the game for them. Bad decisions, that's for sure.
I think KC will find a way to beat SF.

Wish I could listen to Detroit sports radio today....

I look at it this way,

The coach taking those chances all year got them where they were with a very young team so I'm not gonna question him going for it.

If he hadn't gone for it with a lead and still lost, people would be saying he shouldve.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

49ers defense really stepped up after the half, and the offence made the needed adjustments, so when the 49ers started to catch up the lion's offence got panicked and got sloppy, making it even easier for the 49ers defense. Call it choking, or buck fever, or whatever you want but they blew it. It's just easier for teams that have been there and done that to remain on track and change what they need to, than the teams who get blinded by the bright lights of the Super Bowl.

True , coaching was the difference. The dropped passes also had a big impact, but in the end , Cambell was responsible for the loss, Basically gave the game away.

Just the right amount of whelm.
