I guess. Wife shared some text with me where her brother is wearing her sister and other brother out about them not supporting him, financially. Won’t go get a job because it’s too embarrassing to start at the bottom when you are 35 years old. frown

Shoulda started at the bottom .. back when he was supposed to.
Tough love, I'd have little sympathy.
Survival of the fittest, it don't really take much.
Maybe just have to let him hit rock bottom, get your priorities in order, it can change ya.
Then again, US govt would have pity, and probly be better off than a bunch of us.

My family doesn't have one. I'm the black sheep and I'm a home owner and work overtime.

if trapping is your idea of fun , other peoples work isn't difficult at all.

the only difficult part is not saying , just one more set , setting on the way to work and then showing up late

There you go again..... Your not allowing yourself to gain a sufficient intimate experience of the world.

Yep most of us have them, I am lucky enough to have them on my and my wife's side. Neither side converses with us with one exception on each side. Like many, they can't handle the truth. Had a brother-in-law interject himself in a family text the other day. He was bragging how he has been at the same job for 16 years and he used to have a new job every 6 months, and he would get grief for it! I asked him, 16 whole years? No response, I said most people are planning their retirement at your age. Again no response. Have to have fun when one can at the moocher's expense. He and my sister took my mom for a bunch and I had to put an end to that.

I don't give money to the homeless, because I was once homeless.
I don't support food stamps, because I was once on food stamps.
I didn't get it right until I got hungry and dirty and knew there wasn't a safety net.

Not really any on my wife's side.

My side has several. They went away after my mom passed away.
I referred to them as her "strays". They knew better than to come sniffing around my place for handouts.
I'm not willing to help someone that isn't interested in helping themselves.

Who shut off the supply line that enabled him all these years ?
Its almost pitiful when you find one.
He's about to find out It has to start somewhere.
