What is your take on the meaning when you see one in front of a home?

t used to be popular around here to paint old tractor tires white and use them as planters. i use one (not painted) to contain our mint tea patch. Never heard of turquoise tires.

I actually have a turquoise tire, lol. It's hanging in my backyard like a tire swing, painted turquoise, and I plant flowers in it in summer. It has no meaning that I know of other than I saw it in a magazine as a DIY flower planter.

So is it a swing or a planter?

And who painted it?

In Mo, landowners paint them purple for "No trespassing" sign's/notice's.

An old buddy of mine used to tell a story about an older Indian guy that would drive a beat up truck into town. One of the miss matched tires had "No Hunting" painted on it in white paint........ "Too nice a tire da just leave hanging der on da fence!" LOL

I have wondered about some of the tires that I see beside the road. You know whether or not they had a bit of life left in them.
