This Beaver didnt work hard last fall to put up enough feed to last all winter, Now the lazy lump has to keep a hole open to acess trees up on land and risk his life in wolf country every time he needs a meal. Next trip up I will bring a 330 and take out the democrat beaver-the humane thing to do-If he is still around that is. Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Nate,I used the chainsaw today to cut ice at one beaver house to put down two snarepoles.Only got about 8 inches of ice on the beaver ponds. Should have about 2 feet of ice by now in a normal winter. We Just got our snow 2 days ago when a winter blizzard went thru.Before that we only had about a foot of snow which is almost nothing for here this time of year.Usually have about 3 feet of snow by now. And now they are calling for above freezing weather for the next two weeks. Gonna have to place blocks of ice on the safety crosser to keep snared beaver from coming up on top of the ice after they get caught. I cannot remember a winter like this one ever.
