Thanks. The key to breaking the hides is to let them start to dry and turn dark brown then just pull it until it turns white. I stretched them every couple of hours during the day and started when I got up the next day until they were dry. I got 2 coyotes, a Grey fox and 2 possums going right now. Can't get any money for them so I thought I'd tan them.

I have a coyote now that I'm getting ready to send off. When I tried tanning a few muskrat with the orange bottle I think I ripped every one when I was trying to break them. Already got 2 holes in this coyote from my 30-06, don't want to put any more in it lol

I had that happen with a rabbit last year. Got another rabbit to try again this year. I'm not much of a rabbit hunter.
