Texas likely has to be extraordinarily careful who they send to the border to avoid bad press and lawsuits from the ACLU and Feds.

I, we, have just watched the Supreme court uphold Texas law that allows for the arrest and deportation of illegal aliens, and that is why I made this post. Pretty soon it will be legal for ranchers to shoot trespassers, I'm thinking.

Yesterday I heard where SCOTUS on a 6-3 vote OK'd TX to arrest those crossing the boarder illegally. But, today I hear where an appellate judge banned the practice. I thought a SCOTUS decision was the law of the land and couldn't be overturned.

And also , illegals can have guns too...

There is a difference between "the" Supreme court and the regional ones.....


We are a very litigious country, where decision are made and repealed right and left.

I think the SC just lifted a previous stay. I don't believe they have actually ruled on the case yet.
