Sorry to tell you Vinke you may not have to take the exam but licensure is still required, just some alternatives to taking the exam like apprenticeship.
I support the change even though I think it was made for the wrong reasons. Well something like 60% of those getting out of law school fail the bar and just another reason to lower standards. Got to say I don't care what rCw you are but when I need a heart surgeon, or lawyer I want the best not someone that couldn't pass the test so they eliminated the requirements for the rest or scores needed to pass.

Oh good, even lawyers are getting participation ribbons. Can't wait until airline pilots get them too.

Would love to see Harris's bar exam!  She might do better on the oral portion of the exam. Since she is such an eloquent orator and all.

So how will minorities feel when their lawyer is not as skilled as an opponents traditional lawyer? Will that also be discrimination? Can someone refuse a court appointed lawyer who never passed the bar exam? As long as their lawyer looks like them, it'll all be okay.

I think you can already get a license from a box of Cracker Jacks... That is if you are smart enough to get the box open.
