Coon fox skunks a 1 1/2 or 220. Coyotes and bobcats a #3. Beaver a 330 or 7.5 inch jawspread foot trap. I like 5/64 7x7 cable with a kill lock for snares.

Northwoods 1.75 for anything I'll catch here in southeast PA.
#2 Bridgers for anything in north central PA unless I'm targeting bobcat and/or beaver. then # 3 Bridgers.
Eh...wot?

I’m leaning more to #2 bridgers these days but I’m targeting predators and know I will have some coon too. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Respectfully, Nate try to get a state run trappers ed. class under your belt. Then, ride with a veteran trapper for a few days....you'll learn a bunch and save a lot of time. You can go back up to the forum top page and click on "Links" it lists all of the states trapping organizations.... click on Alabama Trappers Org and you'll see the organizations leaders click on the president for info....hope this helps.
