Does anyone know where I can get some replacement springs for Montana #3 traps. I have tried the replacement #3 springs sold at most trapping supply stores and they are to wide. There isn’t enough space between the jaws and the end of spring pin. I have used #2 springs, but they are not as strong. I would like to keep them two coiled. If anyone knows where I could find some I would appreciate it, thank you.

Send John Graham a message, I would guess he would have as good a idea as anyone.

I have used standard replacement #3 springs on montanas before. You have to bend the short spring end (the part that fits under the frame) inward at an angle. Not quite 45 degrees.
Put a 3/8 or 5/16 bolt or piece of rod in a vise. Slide the spring over the bolt then take some pliers or vice grips etc on the short end of the spring. (The part that goes under the frame) and bend it inward at an angle. You may have to experiment a little on how much of an angle but once you get it figured out you can do a bunch pretty quick.
Anyone that owns a gun and votes democrat deserves to have there gun taken, cause they truly are too stupid to own a gun.
