Went Rummage sale hunting this past week with my wife lori and the Grand kids. Found a lot of cheap camping gear and other stuff but the real find was a covered 1965 Corvette that has been in the Garage for 20 years. I asked about it and she told me her Father in law owned it and put it in his Garage for the winter and then passed. Her Husband had it towed to their Garage and it has been sitting since. Has a 327 Manual Transmission. Has the Convertible and the Hard Top. Get this it does not run but did when it was last on the road. The next day I went back and he charged it. The motor turns over but even when I held the plug end of the plug wire there was no spark. Popped the distributor and sure enough the points were burnt to a crisp. Probably has a dead condensor as well. Anyone have an extra 25 grand and it will be yours. Neighbor claims he would sell it for 22. I would think the Brakes and lines should be gone through as well. Real good looking little car. My wife said I could have it if I sold my Camaro and some other toys. I am too old for another project but this one would be mine if I was younger.

68 RS/SS was even built with Factory rear Caliber brakes. Ordered special with the vette rear end, spec sheet even shows it.

A 65 Corvette would be pretty cool. What color is it and how is the paint?

It was bought by John Bergstrom for his Racing Team. John Bergstrom owns one of the largest Car Dealerships in Wisconsin. Stromberg Motors is also his. Just Bergstrom backwards. He bought five of them. All built the same specs. I have one of them two were wrecked beyond repaid and I know a guy Randy has one. Where the last is I have no idea.
