what is the biggest change you have seen in the last ten years?

Me I'm tired.

Heard a story in a sermon this morning about a apple tree and a little boy. The boy played under the tree and the tree was happy. Then the boy became hungry and ate a apple and the tree was happy. As time went by and the boy grew up he needed shelter for himself and the tree said take my limbs and build a shelter and the tree was happy. Then the man was much older and wanted to travel and the tree said cut my trunk and make a boat. And the tree pretended to be happy. Then when the guy grew old and no longer needed the boat he went back home and there was the stump of the tree. He thought to himself how tired he was and sat on the stump. And the tree was happy !

Politicians seem to be more and more brazen in violating constitutional rights.

Anything less than a $20.00 is small change now.

The biggest change is that many people on the left have shifted to complete insanity and the right is sliding left too. Not being able to define a woman, drag shows for small children and full term abortions are things I never thought would happen in the US.

Crowded. There’s just too many people. Also everybody has a car. Used to be a couple only had one vehicle. Now a restaurant looks jam packed but when you go inside it isn’t that bad because everyone takes their own car because they go their separate ways afterward

The amount of housing, farms have gotten much bigger in the last 10 years with smaller fields turned into houses. Less of a farming community, just massive farms now mainly.

How brazen people have become about talking about immoral/illegal/sinful stuff. I'm sure most of us have worked with or otherwise been acquainted with gay people for all of our lives but we never knew it because it wasn't something that came up in conversation. Now discussions about sex lives at work is just unavoidable. And not just gay people by any means. Everyone is constantly talking about their sex lives, sexual preferences, infidelities, etc. They openly talk about illicit drug use (and not just weed). They talk about lying, cheating, stealing, hating, assaulting people. Some brag openly about their criminal records. They instruct others on how best to cheat on your taxes (ok, I may not be so opposed to THAT one), and give lessons on the best ways to fraud the welfare system.

Not a day goes by at work that I don't hear some sort of the above, and I also hear it on Facebook daily and even often on here.

Lots of people have gone crazy--thanks to the internet.

Lots of small farms have been bought up for apartment housing.

Things have been so good for so long ppl don't even realize what's happening..

That is true. I remember taking the 856 and 5 bottom plow through town and waving to all the neighbors/farmers up town having coffee. Everybody knew everyone and you’d stop by and BS with people. Now everyone is so dang paranoid and strange if you pulled up to there house they’d pull a gun on you. The country roads that felt like paradise have been taken over by city folks with the city attitude.

Gas prices from less than 50 cent/gallon to prices today.

Woods and fields where I used to hunt are now developed.

I can't do anything without my body hurting.

Everybody has a cell phone.

More and more people know how to work the system. A gal once told me she had no reason to work. She lets the government pay for her housing, healthcare, food, education, phone and child care. Why work?

Isn’t it disgusting? The working class is gonna be no more!!! Then what will everyone do????
