Wisconsin property insurance companies hemoraged millions of dollars in payouts during the George Floyd/BLM riots. They are recovering their losses from you and other innocent property owners like you.

My truck insurance has crept up over the last 3 years $440 for 6 months when truck was new. My upcoming bill is $688 for 6 months. No claims, etc so I thought I would shop around including my home owners. I could find slightly cheaper auto insurance but my home owners quotes which I pay yearly were way higher than what I paid earlier this year so I’m concerned come next January when it’s due it will be a lot higher.

Only way to combat the increase is to shop around and go with the cheaper quote.

Just had to do that after 40 years with same company and only one claim for hail damage.

Disgusting thing is....they won't care one bit when you leave.

They tried to raise mine over 700$ this year. Settled for a couple hundred. 30 plus years and one claim about 10 years ago. Will be shopping this fall.

Same crap here. No claims, no tickets, nothing. Rates are up 40% across the board. Shopped around and saved a bit over $1200/year by going through Progressive, directly. Had to eliminate the agent to get much savings, but I'm a fair advocate for myself, having been an agent in the past.

Insurance companies have very highly trained and well paid actuaries, who check the statistics on all aspects of the industry. They have found most people will keep their old insurance companies even when abused with excessive rate hikes. It's all about profit nowadays.

Ours has gone up two years in a row.

Switched companies last year.

About as cheap as we can get at this point.

This build back better has sure gotten expensive!
