I know most of us are getting up there and probably don’t go clubbing but pretend you are for this thread.

Are you more likely to get up and dance to the Commodore’s “Easy” or Bad Company’s “Feel Like Making Love”?

Or Both?

Lotta factors go into making this decision. First date? Asking a young lady I don't know to dance? Girlfriend or wife? Is she a 5 and it's past midnight???

Is it Saturday and I'm looking forward to being easy on Sunday morning?

Context man, context...

Anyone ever seen the episode of The Office when Corporate comes in to reprimand Michael for not being politically correct enough? They keep throwing him softballs until he finally blurts out "That's what she said' becuase he can't stand it any longer.

I gotta start work. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. eek

I'm way too young for this. I don't even recognize that first song.

Context: We play mostly private clubs and the average age is probably 65. A lot of widows and widowers. Most of the time the majority of the dance floor is ladies. The men only show up when a slow song is played. If we add either of these songs they will make the last set list so most of the drinking will have taken place by then. The only folks sticking around for that will be those who don’t have a spouse and left already or haven’t found that one that has consumed enough to be talked into leaving with them.

Based on the other responses, both sound like they’ll make the cut for sweat festivals but not the clubs.

All depends on how liquored one is. When I drank, zero liquor = zero dancing. High BAC and I didn’t even need music….lol

You never know for sure. We performed Hotel California as a Novelty song thinking no way was anybody gonna dance to it but people slow danced to it.

I will concede that neither is a good replacement t for the one that is leaving……

People who have seen me dance ask that I don't do that again. I would have to agree.

I like a little belly rubbin music. I would choose Feel Like Makin Love after a night of drinking and dancing to set the mood for the private after party.

Geez folks, we ain’t talking about ballroom dancing here. I’m talking about asking a lady to spend three and a half minutes close to you swaying to a groove, taking in her aura, forgetting everything else and just appreciating what a gift she is. Everybody can dance that dance.
