If I ran Granite Construction I'd be painting flags on all of my equipment.
I wonder if US flags will be prohibited in the national cemeteries this weekend. Good thoughts . I would donate the painting of flags on equipment. I know the company well. The flags are mainly installed by workers Granite purchased Wilder, our local company. Maybe some of the flags we running backwards,, that bugs me...

The convoy was not allowed to go past the Savage River checkpoint. There were 4 rangers on duty to make sure they didn’t go past the checkpoint! It is reported that over 100 vehicles ended up joining the convoy from both directions.

Looks like they’re getting attention. Found a statement from them… “At no time did an NPS official seek to ban the American flag from the project site or associated vehicles. The NPS neither administers the bridge project contract, nor has the authority to enforce terms or policies related to the contract or contractors performing the work. The American flag can be seen at various locations within Denali National Park — at park facilities and campsites, on public and private vehicles, and at employee residences — and we welcome its display this Memorial Day weekend and every day.”

They like turning the enemy against their own government.

I have nothing clever to put here.

You actually believe the government? Of the people by the people for the people. You just cant handle the fact that the social values today are not the same as they were 50 years ago It has always been so,I guess you dont remember the 60s

I could handle social values just fine....if there were any. I do encounter some folks with them. Basically the big difference is urban vs rural.

You actually believe the government? I worked for the govt for 23 years and I don't. In that time I've actually met drug dealers, rapists and murders that I trust more than our govt. Like a LOT more. Yes, there is generally a BIG difference between the moral compasses of those who live in bigger cites as opposed to rural folk and also the local govt that they hold. I'm interested to see how this Denali park situation plays out (if it's true). Seems some people aren't smart enough to get out of their own way.
