Skunk Odor Removal Mix all ingredients together in a plastic bucket;
1 quart hydrogen peroxide 1/4 cup baking soda 1 teaspoon liquid dishsoap
Use a sponge or cloth to wipe the animal, can do the inside of the mouth but KEEP OUT OF THE EYES! Mix as needed, doesn't store well after mixing.

Use a sponge or cloth to wipe the animal, can do the inside of the mouth but KEEP OUT OF THE EYES! Mix as needed, doesn't store well after mixing. This works! It is what I wash skunks in if they have sprayed. It foams like crazy and can't be stored so be ready to use it when you brew a batch up. After you wash the dog, throw the leftovers on the porch, ground or anywhere else it may have sprayed. This works well on vehicles too.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Most animal Vets carry skunk off stuff can’t say how well it works. Aim at the lungs never the skull or spine the virus spreads if you do that freeze the skunk to make the test accurate cold will not kill the virus dehydration and sunlight will.

I cut and pasted that right from Trapperman.com Best information in the world right here.

yup works and not to particular or precise on the measurements
if you had a 1/3 cup baking soda come out of the box to your quart of Hydrogen peroxide and a generous squirt of dish soap you would be fine
most any dish soap works , it helps to get the oils in the essence.
use what ever you have for dish soap.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

And have your pets rabies vaccine boosted just to be safe. Good point. Cheap insurance. I agree.

Orange degreaser . Get it at Walmart for about 3 bucks. Engine degreaser works too, but I wouldn't put that on the dog.

I've have very good luck with a product called Natures Miracle. No mixing or short shelf life and cheap enough to keep several bottles around. Spray on and walk away.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
