I got a permanent disability placard yesterday. I have had trouble walking for the last couple of years. I fell in February and dislocated my shoulder and have been laid up with that. I got a temporary disability placard back when that happened and yesterday the doctor made it a permanent placard.

I have had a raccoon getting in my bird feeders, and I can’t set a trap so I bought a cage trap. I caught the raccoon last night and euthanised him this morning, but I am unable to carry him away to dispose of him. I am going to have to get my two wheel hand cart out to haul him off. Not being able to get around easily sure is a pain. I can’t carry much and I’m a pretty slow walker. But, on the bright side, I caught the raccoon that was tearing up my bird feeders.

Congratulations on catching the coon.
I hear you man. It's tough when you have to fight with your own body to move. No shame in using hand cart to move things. It all about just figuring out how to get it done. I moved 3 flower pots for the wife yesterday. Had to use hand cart. Couple years ago I would have just picked them up and ran with them.
Keep er movin..

Mac

Trappers always seem to figure out a way to get things done. Congratulations on catching the culprit!

Good for you. Screwing with my bird feeders is also a capital offense at my place.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

That's interesting how that works. I don't take prisoners in my yard either.
I had a funky smell in shed thought was dead mouse. So yesterday I decided to find the stinker. Turns out wasn't a mouse but a opossum. Seems found his way in got head tangled in a turtle net hung himself. I knew there was one in areas neighbor texted the other night their dog had one cornered out back. I went out with my ball bat but couldn't find him. Guess bailed in the shed some how.
Anyways won't be eating anything in our yards anymore.

I certainly am thankful my daughter left her little red wagon here when she moved out on her own! I keep it handy and in fact bought one of the folding wagons for bank fishing. Wish I would have gotten a smaller folding unit for I tend to put way to much in it.

I got to ask . What does catching a coon have to do with the title or you getting a disability placard? Did you use it as an attractant? Did the coon feel sorry for you and comit suicide?

Make things easier for you, I have 2 wagons I use for the garbage, or anything that needs moved, hand truck for bigger things, I try not to lift or carry anymore than I have too. You can also use a drag hook to drag things easier than carrying them. Lots of things you can do to make things easier. Don't be stubborn...

I would not buy a house with bedrooms upstairs or laundry in the basement for this reason of decreased mobility as you age...
