Several vendors have said they attendance is low. Not many people milling around.

Maybe a good thing you didn’t go. My tail gate spot will be losing money after expenses are paid.

I don’t think you missed much.

Any one heard where the western is next year?

I feel for SD. They have expense in putting it on, besides a lot of work. They bid on putting it before the NTA"s choices caused some people to skip it. The NTA ill just write it off due to low fur prices and not care what SD looses on it.

Thanks. Seems like no matter where the western is held, it is a long drive for most people. But that’s life.

Yes you are correct and I thought about going to both. But the NTA is on my shun list. Maybe that is why I was mistaking. I feel for ID and SD.

Spent Weds thru today in Glenn’s Ferry. Didn’t think to take pictures. Light crowd but pretty engaged. Demos were quite good. The Idaho folks did a nice job in my opinion. I spent two days banging around down to the Nevada line and over to Brunneau. Incredible, empty country with a lot of wildlife. Met some very interesting trappers.

Heading to Dworshak in the morning to get a start on the fishing portion of my trip.

Seen a few pictures on social media from the nationals. Seemed like the same six people in almost every picture.
