Watching with Sal so he can see what may be coming and to expect. Our kids are facing a new world.
The enemies are in our back yards now...also in power.

The remake was absolutely horrible… they should have been sent to prison for even thinking about remaking a classic like red dawn

Dang Red Dawn was a classic.

I agree, it made me a hoarder of necessities.
Especially ammo and ammo making supplies.
And pretty much anything survival related.

I think they start to make it being China but China did not like that so they made it North Korea in the move fromm what I remember reading.

I watched it the new one with great expectations an it truly just plain sucked. Wast of time

West River you may be able to find the original on U tube for free.

I have been enjoying the Edge of collapse survival series audio books by Kyla Stone. So far 7 books about 10 hrs each about after emp attack.

I highly doubt we'd be lucky enough to have a red dawn invading army scenario .....shame too because the pine plantations down here would make stuff very interesting.... 115 shells strapped to the back of pine trees and good googly moogly the stuff you could make at a Lowe's or home Depot, not hard to make a shaped charge that can knock out ....never mind

I am more scared of the folks behind the thrones of our government than I am foreign invasion.

Remake was horrible. I would have preferred an update to the original. What happened after the two remaining Wolverines made it to Free America--30 to 40 years later?

Considering how poor the remake was they would have messed that up as well.

Yeah, but at least it could have checked a few nostalgia boxes.

Glad I’m not the only one that looks at different possible ambush points and possible escape routes that would be used to take out even more than the actual ambush. I’ve even mentioned to landowners trees/rows I’d keep for cover. I was referring to cover for me, but if it works for me it works for animals as well, lol.

I believe that was a sequel, unless I missed the 1st one.
