More on the way!

the last 3 years have been very dry during the summers.
This summer its been raining very nicely.

I'll take rain over a drought any time.
ideally a 1" a week, but more is always welcome.

Can't survive without water, Lots rain will not be an issue for most things, on the other hand drought stresses almost all.

I only got 1.2 " last bout of rain. They predicted 2.
However, wind gust were insane.
First time I was afraid from a storm.
I lost 16 huge oak,ash,boxelder.
Guessing 80 plus winds.

God can turn off the faucet for awhile.

3 inches here and it’s down poured a few times since then it’s been raining since last night another 3 inch is possible and more coming over the weekend.

Feast one year, famine the next.
Sure would be nice to get an inch a week. One evening 1/2" and 4 days later another. Starting bout midnight and ending bout 4 a.m.

The sun was out here all day and yesterday. Some of the corn is ankle high already, but the rest is short. It has been cool, my garden is way behind last year.

Still nothing here in Central Indiana some forecast for this coming Sunday and next Tuesday. Spent several hours giving the garden a good soaking tonight.

Just got ANOTHER 3ths last hour.

Overcast with very light mist several times today but nothing measurable. Hay fields are soggy that it'll take weeks to dry up enough to cut and bale. Seen several bean fields with large areas flooded out. Farmers are shaking their heads as many where in the fields a month early this year and now some still don't have all their beans in or at least sprayed. More rain predicted for the next few days.

We could use a gentle rain. The ground is really hard and the push mower bounces along . Please send the rain my way if you don’t mind.

We have had 2 inches since last night. Cloudy with more to come they say. Flood warnings for several counties in our area. We have had about 12 inches over the last month. Some areas near us 3-5 inches more. We were in a drought area from October 2022 till April of 2024.

It's getting a little bit crispy here in central Georgia. Looking like we might need to start hoping for a tropical storm to steer our way.

All is does lately is rain everyday here in Wisconsin. I'm starting to feel like I live in Washington State!

We on week 3 or 4 with no rain in my area. Supposedly this week we’ll have a chance at some afternoon thunderstorms. We got fingers crossed!!

Dead Coyote sent me a video today of down by him and the water was right up near the top of the stop sign.

Close to another .75” here this morning.

Rain makes corn, corn makes likah. Rain is a good thing but too much of anything is not good eithah.
