I was at work and my wife sent me this picture. Our little English bull dog broke her leg after jumping out of my daughters arms. The vet wanted to cut it off because they didn't think it would heal right. However my wife said no cast it, after 8 weeks the cast came off. The vet said it healed but wasnt correctly that she would always have a limp but if she got some muscle built up on the puny leg he thought she maybe able to keep it. Well after talking to some people they suggested pool rehab, so the wife has been making her work out in the pool. She let's her go around the pool a few times and then rest.

She has a little hop in her step but it doesn't slow her down, wrestles and chases the big dogs and chickens.

Something happened to one of the back legs of one of my beagles once. She ran around on three legs except when we were rabbit hunting, then she used all four.

She uses all four doesn't favor it into not using it just a little limp, and when she runs just kinda of scoots weirdly

Believe I would be looking for a different vet.

Dogs and a lot of other animals are funny like that. Once they get used to a limp or ? it become the new norm and do it all the time, even after they're all healed.

The wife isn't too impressed with the vet. He was new to us had to go to another town because the ones here are horrible imo.

Sounds like a CCL injury?
