Probably one of the most outspoken song writers of today. He once said there has never been any great Conservative song writers ! It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !

Same goes for Childers, and Childers is a better artist, and less radical than Isbell, but still too much for me. The devil's greatest trick isn't making us think he doesn't exist. It's flattering us. So we don't see..... the devil is us.

I would probably own every album he ever recorded if he didn’t have to exclaim his political views at every opportunity ! It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !
