Went to a Jason Isbell concert tonight at an outdoor venue. It was not disappointing. He's a very talented musician and song writer. If you've never heard him, look him up on YouTube.

Very talented ! Don’t much care for his politics.

I don't know anything about his politics, never heard him express them in any of his song (that I've listened to). Personally, I don't care about people's politics, their religion, skin color, nationality...

I don’t care much for individuals deciding what’s best for me. He would love to strip you of your 2nd Amendment rights !

Probably one of the most outspoken song writers of today. He once said there has never been any great Conservative song writers !

I liked him until I heard his political BS and it churned my stomach.

Same goes for Childers, and Childers is a better artist, and less radical than Isbell, but still too much for me.

Should've stayed with the Drive By Truckers.
And kept his commie mouth shut...

Why can’t artists just make music ?

Steve Earle is another example ! Extremely talented songwriter and artist. I would probably own every album he ever recorded if he didn’t have to exclaim his political views at every opportunity !
