Sad to hear about losing your buddies. At least you have the memories to cherish.

Wife: That's the 4th time you've gone back for dessert, doesn't that embarrass you? Me: No, I keep telling them it's for you.

Scratching my head here....there's only about 360 folks in the USA that are over 90? Or did you mean one in a thousand?

Something kind of interesting. Merle, the first guy to die, had a PhD. We called him Dr. Guthrie, his last name. He had a piece of property, good rabbit ground. I had beagles at the time and he would not let me hunt that piece of ground. I kept asking to hunt it and he always said no. All of a sudden, one day, he said l could hunt it but he was going to go with me. After we hunted it, with the beagles, and got a couple of rabbits, HE STARTED CALLING ME, and asking me to come and bring my beagles and take him hunting on his property.

Part of the deal was that if I saw any house type cats, I had to shoot them.

Agreed. Great memories like that will live with you forever. Sad, but a nice post.
