I was wondering about everyone's thoughts on using rat snap traps on longtail weasels? Placement in weasel boxes? My weasel boxes are sized for the wooden snap traps and ermine. I've been brainstorming on coming up with a combination of #40 RBG traps and PVC pipe or wooden extensions added to my tried-and-true weasel boxes with the idea of an exclusion type set to keep the coons from mucking things up.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

I never trapped a weasel but I'm planning on trapping some I use a weasel box with a wolf creek products rat trap for weasel ($1 a piece) and would put chicken legs raw and chicken liver in the back. Put some gusto from Caves on a q tip on the top. That's my setup for this year
