upstateNY trapper U Joined: Aug 2008 ny	I too am guilty of calling it a hot water heater,,but thats just because a Hot Water Maker just dont have the same ring to it. the wheels of the gods turn very slowly

Lugnut trapper L Joined: Dec 2006 SEPA	A water heater continues to intermittently heat the water inside it even after it is "hot" so it can maintain a preset temperature even when no water is being used. Therefore it is heating hot water. Calling it a hot water heater would be correct in a literal sense Eh...wot?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
