Good ole fried taters and onion with spam for supper. My wife and daughter are probably not going to be happy when they smell the cooked spam. They only want me to cook it when they are not home and they went shopping and left me to fend for myself.

That is why you should have your wife cook. But, I can't say I blame them for not wanting spam.

Yes it is. Except even the original has less salt in it than it used to. When I was a kid my mom would slice and fry it and serve it with mac and cheese. Back then if you didnt get mac and cheese in the same bite with the spam it would lock you jaws up from the salt.

I have ate spam since I was a kid. And somehow as my tastebuds changed with age I still like it. Now I also used to eat vienna sausages but now they make me want to gag.

Just don't salt your dish....you should be ok

Ate alot of it and hot dogs fried in the frying pan growing up.i think I ate enough to last me the rest of my lifetime.

Yep, I always have it with potatoes or mac and cheese. Then I dont have to add any salt. Although it isnt as salty as it was when I had it as a kid. Except I had to finish the can off today so I sliced amd pan fried it and made sandwiches.

Fried hot dogs havent had that in a while. We always split the down the middle and fried them, then made sandwiches. Well I know what I am eating next time I am solo for a meal.
