Only experience has been with their cheap single shot guns and also the single shot .22 and .410 swap out barrel guns. Super short barrels and weaned my daughters off on a couple to larger guns then passed the guns along to a new shooter. Getting any fancier don't know much about the brand. What I did use was quality for the price for sure!

I think you're correct also on that, it does occur naturally... I do believe they also had a winter feeding program back in the 50s or 60s. It was a decade or two before my time but the older farmers from the next camp down the road would talk about it. Or maybe they were pulling my leg LOL, I was young and naive enough to believe about anything.

Seems like that would be a fine way to go. Chop it off, crown it well, cut a dovetail and your good to go
