Found this MEC Jr in 28 ga today. Used, price $149.00. Appears to have very little use, super clean. The bottles don't even appear to have any lead or powder residue. I'm thinking I will go back and buy it tomorrow. What do y'all think?

Great presses and if you shoot 28ga and have trouble finding good ammo go for it.

Tomorrow it won't be there. At least not if I see it first.

Let me make sure I have this straight, you bought a reloader because it was a good deal but you don't have a 28 gauge shotgun, so now you have to buy a shotgun since you have the reloader? I like the way you roll, that's sounds like something I would do. To be fair, I bought two flats of Win AA 28 ga shells, a brick of 209 primers and 500 wads before I bought the press. I already had some compatible powder. And yes, I still need to buy a 28 ga.

To me the Mec 600 Jr was the best single stage press every made. I am sure I have loaded over a ton of shot on them. 12,20, and 410. They are pretty fool proof.
