I'm on it a LOT less than I used to be. If you like politics like I do, it's easy to get consumed by them on there, same as on X. That said, it's great in that there are multiple groups for every topic under the sun... mini forums if you will. For example, I'm groups about trapping, squirrel hunting, coon hunting, canning, gardening in MS, pond management, mushroom hunting, catfishing from shore, crappie fishing, foraging, etc. etc. Whatever topic you want to learn more about, there's a group for that. Some examples of trapping sub-groups would be trap collecting, collectible trapping paper, fur handling, snaring, lure and bait making, trap modification, etc.

And I like talking to people that used to be here and aren't anymore, for whatever reason.

I don't post much on Facebook, but I do have an account. Facebook isn't good or evil. The people who have problems with social media are the ones who allow it to take over their lives, that can no longer stand to be away from it.

There's a lot of good groups on Facebook. It's an easy way to stay connected with friends and relatives you don't get to meet with much.

The ones with the most negative things to say ain’t even on there that’s priceless. FB is a lot more than just the social page with lots of additional aspects that are useful. Lots of Richards on here so it’s not just exclusive to FB.

Like stated market place, Car enthusiasts, turkey talk, contact with hunting friends, if you can’t get your phone provider to fix a problem post that on FB it gets fixed.

It’s a tool that you need to figure out how to use it.

Yep, I find it to just be a different version of here. You have to figure out how to navigate it to avoid as much of the garbage as possible and see if there's anything you want to follow.

Having collector trucks finding parts would be about impossible it’s a lot simpler belonging to several truck clubs with the same trucks it’s a blessing to have such a resource like that. The same goes for troubleshooting issues that you run into the knowledge that is available for just asking a question about it.

Dropped it about 5-6 years ago and TikTok about a month ago. About to drop IG too, but I can post my hunting videos there without getting banned, so still up in the air about it.

I have a public page called "Lure Hunter' https://www.facebook.com/groups/1625076007902767 I post all of the fishing lures I find on there. Facebook is a way for people to communicate so I would say it is a net good if you choose wisely.

Was on there for years but finally kicked the habit. There is an audience that can use it without incident, I'm not one of them.

I had more things banned on there than posted. Was in timeout more than I was actually on. Don’t miss it at all.

Never saw the need personally, but about everyone I know seems to be on it.
