Over / Under?

On a serious note, I hope you follow through. Some awful nice folks on here have shown you a ton of patience and offered you fantastic advice. You’re close to ruining that for yourself if you haven’t already.

Wow, really? Find some buddies and learn the regulations together. Practice making sets until they start to become second nature to you.

This site is fantastic, and there is a ton of knowledge on here, but that doesn't make it your own personal chat room. Slow down, listen, and learn. Good luck on your self-imposed vacation.

Putting yourself in timeout is commendable but use any and all of that time to read up and gain skill. You see a lot of folks reccomend reading the archives and I'd say take that 1 step farther. Based upon what you read, start a project. I'm sure other ideas can easily be found but waxed dirt comes to mind. Go make a few buckets of it. The first time I read a FF&G article about using square stakes and a wooden wedge for super fast staking and stabilizing body grips I wore a table saw blade down to the nubs
You might have so much fun that trapping season comes sneakin up on ya before you know it.

Yup, or put up some bait. Now's a great time to go fishing, chunk up some fish like carp or catfish, and layer the chunks of fish with salt in a 5 gallon bucket. Here's you a post from the archives on how to do it: https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/226308/salting-carp#Post226308

Or, you can make fish oil. There's several posts in the archives on that topic.

I wish you luck. You made it about 16 minutes on the 48 hour challenge I gave you. Read! Problem solve! Think during your vacation. It WILL benefit you if you use it. That said, I can't wait to see what you post tomorrow.

He's a nice kid, enthusiasm is unbridled with too much time on his hands. I would suggest he does a deep dive into PA out of season animal control law along with the archives here and find a project or two that he can apply himself too. With that, I won't be holding my breath for even a day let alone a week.
