Of the two #11 traps I'm aware of you can buy new, Bridgers are first choice. Hope the new Sterlings are as good or even better. Dukes not so much. For past few months there has been a guy on ebay unloading a big pile of lightly used Northwoods #11's in lots of 8 to 10. I snagged a few and they are a good trap.
In addition to his short video on fixing the Duke traps, Dale Billingsly also has a video for those struggling to set these double long springs with stout springs. Perhaps Dale has figured out a way to make some money off his videos.......as he has been producing tons of them.
I was going to say Oneida Victor is still producing the Newhouse and B&L new #11s, but when I went to F&T both say they are out of stock. Southeastern does have the Newhouse in stock. Does anyone know if Victor is still producing these?

Switched from Sleepy Creek years ago to the Newhouses. Lovely little tenacious trap. Have nearly a hundred. Choice #1 for guarding a pocket set with sufficient drowning water immediately nearby for the drowner cable.

Thanks. Never tried them but good to know of another viable option.

So, some of you like the Newhouse trap. Correct? I recall getting bad reviews on the Newhouse traps from some on here. Maybe it's a Ford versus Chevy time of thing. Seriously, what's there to not like? I'm curious.

Dang it, Swamp! I don't want to trap coon. We don't have mink or rats. What in the world do I need #11s for? But now I'm wanting Sterling 11s and Newhouse 11s.... WHY? It must be a mental illness, lol.
