Let me get this straight, if I've never been part of a union and worked for a private entity, and have a million $$ at 54 years of age, I'm a dummy. The union isn't what made you successful, monetarily. It's called work ethic. Y'all would have done fine without the union, but it's always nice when some union boss tells you the Union made you what you are.

And your soon to be millionaire status is due to the union or from collecting on a big insurance claim? Making a good income, budgeting, living below my means and being able to invest at a fair to good rate. Property values going up also help out. Net worth is figured including all your assets including land. Consider I'm not selling the land I don't include it. If I were I would be there now. It's easy to become a millionaire just few are willing to do what it takes. No union is required at all but the job I have sure does make it easier.

Just for the record PF, there are lots of 6 figure non union jobs with good benefits out there. That would require providing a value to a company based on one's own merits Easier to join a group that uses extortion to over inflate the value of the group as a whole. Good for underachievers , not good for people who kick a z z

So collecting on a big insurance claim has nothing to do with it? I'm raising the BS flag

So collecting on a big insurance claim has nothing to do with it? I'm raising the BS flag So what big insurance claim do I have coming or did I get I would love to know. You wouldn't be the first to think I got money when my son was killed. Fun facts, guy didn't have enough insurance and even with my under insurance coverage if not for the hospitals settling I was going to have to go bankrupt. But they all agreed to take the same % of the pot and settled so u was saved from bankruptcy. I understand you can't get there yourself so it's not possible for anyone else to get where you wish you could be in life so it had to be given to them. Just so you don't think it's family money, I was raised by a single mom in government subsidies housing until I was 10. Basically sorry you won't ever get there it's sad because everyone and anyone can.

Just for the record PF, there are lots of 6 figure non union jobs with good benefits out there. I know quite a few, kin to several. Both private and public sector. The common denominator, none are brainwashed that there's only one path to wealth. Matter of fact dad is retired comfortably with two different failed businesses to his credit. Just kept plugging away and salting it back. Working on mine at the moment.

Just for the record PF, there are lots of 6 figure non union jobs with good benefits out there. And how many of those companies are pro 2-A ? They're all to busy drinking the woke and DEI Kool-aid to care about your wants and wishes. Or hear rational thinking.

Just for the record PF, there are lots of 6 figure non union jobs with good benefits out there. Not that I have been able to find union or non. Otherwise I wouldn't be working 127 miles from home. Oh, I thought was by choice. Sorta like working all the hours you say you work.

Join a union support organized crime, gun control, anti trapping, anti hunting, anti bill of rights. That is fact. P.S. I was a teamster for 3 years. Teamsters have bankrupted dozens of trucking companies.

I’m forced to be in a union. In NY we have what are called “closed shops.” Basically forces the Union labor. Since the Democrats launder money through the unions, they make sure the only labor occurring pays dues. They ban right to work laws. Technically you can start a battle and fight to only pay local dues and not international dues, but the laws make it so difficult to accomplish that it’s really not worth the battle. The Supreme Court ruled those laws are illegal in the public sector, but has yet to do so in the private sector. I make good money, have good benefits. But Im forced to pay $1200 a year in dues and it all goes to supporting Democratic policies. Frustrating.
