Man Paul's gonna be mad at me Over your daily post limit? By three posts. Little O, they're not doubting your height, they're doubting your draw length. They're saying that at 5'3" you would not physically be able to draw the bow back 28". Not because you're not strong enough, but because your arms simply are not long enough. Well, at least not if you're shooting anywhere close to the right way. Guys, maybe he's standing completely sideways, and drawing the string all the way across his breast. If he is, his folks need to pay a bit more attention to him because he's gonna get HURT.

I don't know he could be telling it like it is ... All I can say at 13 bring average for my age, I shot a Bear, fiberglass recurve bow, instinctively ... a measured 27# @ a 25" draw, fingers, with matched and appropriate splined 26" cedar arrows. Of course that was a long time ago and I was shoot competitively, ~ 500 arrows/week. 2nd in State only to my instructor's 14 year old son in the age bracket.
Now compound bows are a bit different than the recurve bow, especially if you have to draw and hold, for the wind (competition) or an animal (hunting).

No he's standing on the riser and pulling it straight up and shooting the arrow into a 6 inch in diameter hole...

Keep complaining . Keep arguing. And blaming Mr Paul as you jump over him with hollow excuses to disrespect him. Over something as petty and immature as a height tiff.
Keep running with that trap drag.
What Yes Sir showed in your own words plainly demonstrates your intent . And it is not anything to do with bow hunting. If he were a Knight,,his name would be "Sir Fibsalot".

Your draw length and arrow length is not the same thing. Your arrows should be about 1" longer than your actual draw length measures from your proper anchor to where your arrow contacts the reset. No shorter for safety and no longer for unnecessary weight.
Wolfdog, In your pic above....your bow's draw length is too long...and the arrow is obviously too long. You bow will be much more comfortable and accurate if you can adjust the draw properly (you are having to pull too far back...unnecessarily) And your arrows will be lighter and fly better/faster with that unnecessary weight cut off (as long as you have the proper spine arrow) My draw length is set at 30 inches. My arrow arrows are 28 1/4 from carbon to the crotch of the nock. There's no such thing as unnecessary weight. All that matters is your arrows are properly spine matched to your set up and tune correctly. Heavy weight is in now compared to 20 years ago. Ranch Fairy on yourube had some awesome videos. Pass throughs are better than fast non penetrating arrows. My opinion of course.

Pass throughs are better than fast non penetrating arrows. My opinion of course. There may not be any unnecessary weight/length on your arrows, but for me, I want the correct spine for the correct length, and no unnecessary weight due to excessive length. Consistently accurate archery demands a near perfect fit of the gear to the archer....and then very good practiced and repeatable form. The best archers are so well practiced that their muscle memory takes over every shot. I don’t have to watch Ranch Fairy videos to learn proper archery. I shot 3D tournaments for many years in the late 80s and early 90s. Done my own setup and arrow building. Tested some archery gear on a local level. Was chosen to be on a tournament team of some of the best shooters in this area. Have many dust collectors with the little plastic gold archer on top for all my efforts...lol. Shot with and against some very good shooters that went on to shoot for top bow manufacturers. And shot with/against Wayne Pearson of ESPN outdoor TV fame a couple times. I guess I was about as pro as I could get in this area, but I didn't pursue the tournament trail any further after it all shifted to ASA influence & control. Came up thru the ranks of trial and error. Traditional, then crude early compounds, then compounds with overdraws (that was fun with 25" arrows and 90lb draw weight), then slowly modernized from PSE to Mathews over several years. Fingers release, ball-bearing releases, caliper releases, wrist strap index and thumb releases. Wooden shafts, aluminum, carbon-aluminum composites, pure carbon. Fixed cut on contact Bear Razorheads & Satellites, fixed blade Thunderheads & Muzzys, and many others, and Wasp and Rage mechanicals. Also tried about every type sight made. You name and I've tried it and likely competed and/or hunted with it. Have killed well over 100 whitetail deer and dozens of feral hogs with bow/arrows. I purely love archery! Especially hunting mature bucks! Current hunting setup (and likely my last as I'll be 60 this November) is the Mathews Triax (new in 2017). Rest is QAD drop away. Quiver is Mathews ArrowWeb removable. Stabilizer is a short Axion (so it'll fit in my bowcase.) Weight is set at 68lbs. Arrows are 27.25" crested Black Eagle Outlaws (from nock crotch to insert.) Broadheads are Wasp 100 grain Jak-Hammers. Sight is the Apex adjustable single pin. Release aid is Hardcore thumb release. Oh...it chronos at 290 fps. Shoots thru even north Missouri bucks that weigh well over 200 lbs. These thinner deer down here in deep South Georgia don't even know what zipped thru them. Archery has been a big part of my life. It's gonna be a sad day when I can't draw a bow any longer. My Triax on the right and my old Mathews Legacy (2003 flagship bow) on the left.

Dang Swamp, that brought a lot of memories when you started naming bows and broadheads. I had a lot of bows, don’t know if you ever remember or seen a York STO, that was a fun little bow. Went through the PSE stage, Nova was the one I had. And I’ll be honest I love my Mathews, but I had a Martin Firecat that sent a lot of deer and pigs to the other side. I shot Muzzy’s probably the most in my life and don’t ever remember why I quit, probably something to do with mechanicals. Glad you posted that!! I do remember the York bows. Used to occasiinally see shooters at 3D shoots with them back then. I shot PSE Fireflights from the beginning of my tournament years until the end. It was a wheel bow....and I shot very high poundage. I think I went thru three different Fireflights during competition shooting. One of em broke in half when I was at 3/4 draw. That incident caused me a little blood loss on my wrist, hand, and forehead. A couple inches to the left and it probably would've knocked me out...or killed me. PSE replaced that Fireflight on their dime. I used to see a lot of archers shooting Martin bows. They were/are a good company. I also shot Muzzys longer than any other broadhead. I started shooting Muzzys the 1st year they became a company in the 80s and settled on 90 grain fixed 4 blade for 2 decades. Let the air out of many deer and hogs with those one inch diameter Muzzys. They shot accurately out of my setups. I really liked the practice blades simplicity and the durability of the hunting blades. Practice...swap out blades to razors...go hunting.
