I dont remember the name,,,but it you have a sportsman warehouse,,,they sell a texting device that works of satellite..

I used it for a free month trial and it was good. continues use was about 40 dollars if you did not use it much.
plus the cost of the unit.....

I still can not figure out why starlink does not have a "base camp version"......

I got Starlink for the house a few months ago and love it. Going to get the mobile set up for our camp in Canada so I can turn it off when We’r not there. So far I don’t see the cell phone option but they are working on it. They have a deal with Roger’s in Canada already. My phone switches from bell to Roger’s a lot up there. Hopefully it will lock on Roger’s when starlink gets its ducks in a row.

I have a booster in my house and a mobile one in my truck,I live out in the country and have a weak signal, the house booster works great, the unit in my truck works only if you have a signal to boost but improves my range immenesly, just have to figure out where you have signal in your travels.
I know at certain location I can call in, helps when I am coming in with a load of baitfish I can let them know an hour ahead.
Not a miracle worker the mobile unit but helps.
