I had a 1965 coupe...40 years ago..
Bought it for 3500.00 bucks ...with no motor or trans.
Sold it 3 months later for 4k ..without even cleaning the windshield...lol

67 SS 396/375hp ragtop. This isn't it, but it looks just like the one I had. It was Butternut yellow, 410 positrac and had a muncie 4 speed. I was too young/imature at age 18 to have something like that. I got into trouble with it - lol. Shortly after the wife and I tied the knot, I got one like this midnight blue cutie, but with different wheels. It was only a 327/250hp, but it was fun to drive. The powerglide transmission sure made it come of the line good when we went to grudge night at the dragstrip on Wednesday nights in Orlando. That was only good for about a hundred years, then the doors got blown off - lol. Bought it in 1971 for $1500 and sold it in 1973 for $1800. Sure wish I still had it. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-3-225936-64vette.jpg)

My first new car was a 72 Chevelle SS. 454 that ended up getting blueprinted a bit bigger Hurst double ring on the floor, thrush packs to help collect as many noise tickets as possible. Sold for a new 74 challenger. Original motors were a let down, lotta work underneath to go bigger.
Hadda thing for dragging….

There's no replacement for displacement
Love a nice big block bowtie.
I remember my alcoholic uncle wrapping a super bee identical to the one above around a big maple tree years ago. He totalled every hot rod Mopar that he got his drunk'n hands on. And he had many a nice ones. I stomped on mine going to work one morning. It down shifted into 2nd and when it grabbed 3rd somewhere around 75 we went around and around in the road. I believe I drove around 40 the rest of the way to work and went immediately to the Men's room.
I have nothing clever to put here.

And the sexiest front end ..on the planet And I still have it. Gotta respectfully disagree on the sexiest front end. 1973 that I’m restoring for the second time. 30 years since the last rebuild. Matching numbers Z-28 RS car. NOT a big block. 350 LT1 engine. THIS is the sexiest front end over…

Last time I broke it down , research , your camaro was probably 1 of 5 or less in that configuration.......likely worth over 200k in mint condition

BOSS 429…..but it might be a bit bigger now. 2600HP at the tractor pull a couple months ago. Went to a car show the next weekend. The street blowers sure look small compared to the pullers…lol ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/08/full-56418-225940-img_1628.jpeg) Adjusting the valves here.
