I have a 114 Newhouse in perfect condition. Any trap collectors know it's worth. I was offered $300.00.

They are collectible but certainly not rare. $300 is a reasonable offer.

Raise letters or stamped on the pan. I have a new stamped I bought in 1981 for $25.

If I decided too, you are first on the list.

I had a brand new one back when I collected traps. It came from Tim Caven (MN Trapline Products) personal collection. I had the hand written receipt between the jaws. That is one of the few I wish I had kept. I was at the point that collecting had left a bad taste in my mouth and I just wanted them all gone.

A guy brought in two dozen in sealed boxes to Pacific in Spokane. I can not remember what his name was. He was a fur buyer it seems like and had a line of lure. He sold both dozen to my boss. I bought one for $25. I have no idea what he gave for the two dozen. That would have nice to have had a dozen in a sealed box.

I am a sucker for guns and traps that are NIB. I used to have quite a few traps that were that way.

I am not really a collector of guns or traps. I have some of both, some people think are collectors. But that is not why I have them.

I had 2 of them. Not being a collector donated one to our District ten raffle.

If you had three or four of them you could probably trade them for an ivory trap!

I know a guy in MN who would buy it from you. Or you could leave it to me in your will

Turns out I'm catching wolves with "collectors items!"

I own and use quite a few 114's. I have #9's as well, but the 114's are my all-time favorites.

Which ones are generally considered more collectible/desirable, the stamped pan or raised letter?

Stamped pan model is generally considered more desirable.

Naw, they tend to annoy me after a while and are WAY too expensive to get rid of.
