I know this is ADC, so many of us don't do mouse/rodent jobs, but if you do, how do you structure your pricing? Setup plus per catch charge? seems silly to charge by the mouse.. Yes I know a license is required to rodenticide/rat poison (I do poses this license)

Setup plus service charge per visit? I was thinking setup charge plus visit charge to check traps with a minimum of 2 visits, more if the customer wants them.

Im all ears for anyones thoughts

I'm extremely selective on taking mouse/rat jobs. Must be a modern home, no stone foundations. Then I'll sell it as an exclusion, sealing everything from ground to roofline, with trapping inside. I typically charge per linear foot of the house, and try to catch everything locked inside. I don't do many.

I quit doing rats and mice due to inevitable "type" of job. The rental.

Sometimes you just can't fix stupid.

But when I did I priced it like any other household pest, flat rate based on 14 days service. Figure your time labor and gas. Exclusion offered and with rats/mice that's footing to ridge. Back when I was a registered applicator exterior rodenticide was also offered.

I don't do mice or rats, but I think a flat rate 10 day trapping program followed by a monthly rodenticide contract would be something to consider.
