But Law you are right. I feel your pain I spent the last month putting the fur shed back together some days are worse than others. Ladder days are tough on the legs/feet cutting the metal siding kills the hands. Heading out to set up for elk next month later this week I hope the weather cooperates archery elk is on my bucket list.

That roof's pretty flat, how much of a snow load do you think it will handle?

That roof's pretty flat, how much of a snow load do you think it will handle? Yep it is 16 inch rise. It is in the open no timber right here but yes we get snow. It is built with 4x5 timbers so not concerned and wind will take a lot off where it is at.

On 4' centers with OSB deck? If the roof is open it will stay blown off pretty much. Snow seldom falls down in MT and ND. It travels sideways. Sideways snow does not build on a open roof.

I doubt I have any issues and if I do I install more cross bracing inside. This will be the finished product inside the shack. No insulation all open, what you see is about what it will look like.
MJM has it right it will blow off 90% of the time. No heat inside 24 hours a day so sticking to tin roof isn't going to be a problem.
