Interesting Danny.

I know we've used it since the '70s when I really got into trapping and haven't changed. I like how it takes any rust off that gets on a trap.

I dyed some traps with logwood in about 1990 and threw a pair of Klein electrical pliers in the pot. They came out perfectly and are still rust free with a perfect dye coating.

Interesting read and thank you for the reminder to order some logwood dye for upcoming season trap prep.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I use the spalted heart of a red oak tree, works great. and the price is right!
