Got 3 tenths of an inch on the Turner County farm.

But, that rain line didn't make it this far south down here at the state line. I'm glad it didnt...we're still wet...even on the hill. All the bottoms remain full.

This was the cleacut in the riverbottom last week. The river is just behind the trees at the far backside of that "lake." River is back in its banks now and still dropping.

We only ended up with 1.3” but really needed it. Still didn’t get the main pond to its overflow, but did add some to the wet weather holes and created a few mud puddles. Our cover rows on the dove field will definitely benefit from it. Went riding right at daylight this morning and saw plenty of deer and dove in the dove fields. Saw 8 Tom’s (gobblers and jakes) together up front. And 2 gobblers and 2 jakes together in the back. Saw some hens and poults in the small pines but couldn’t get a count. Everything was active this morning except hogs!

Ours still hanging on to that velvet. Not even seeing any starting to shed it yet or any rubs.

That 8 is nice! Body features = older buck.

But..his tarsals dont even have any old staining.

Actually it’s probably long ways from you. Just way closer than me. Little over hour out of Atlanta. Have shown up for four nights in row. It’s my friends camera but he’s up here at moment and I’m in middle of years honey extraction so they are safe. Seems they show up for few days in row normally but then won’t be any for 6-8 weeks. I know guy within mile of there traps them so I’d venture a guess that could be why

Hogs are all over the Peach State.

It’s interesting to me as we don’t have them but buddy swears at them. Says they destroy every food plot he has in and the deer become less plentiful.

Can't plant any deer plot with hogs around. Can't even disk up a plot to prepare to plant.....they'll come to that fresh dirt and take over. Root it so bad that you'll about turn the tractor over...lol
