I would drill using the extensions with my plumbing/ electrical bits, as far as I could go.
Then I would soak the interior of the stump with diesel, over the time period of 2 days or more,,,If you dont have a excavator. If you need it out..... burn the roots if ya can not dig with a machine.....

I'm guessing the roots you cut are the ones you can git to and there are some straight down that are alive, well, and (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) for stout.
A track hoe would be best. Yankees call em excavators. You'd have a home for that $2500 you can sell your brush hog for bud.

Tie a heavy log chain to the stump and your bumper and take a good run at it. This. And make sure you video it, it will most likely give a lot of people a good laugh, and go viral.

I dig them out with my small L35 Kubota 35hp backhoe. It's my least favorite job with that machine. I dig a circle around them You'd be surprised how far out and how deep I have to go to rip through enough roots to get even medium sized stumps to pull out.
Eh...wot?

Tie a heavy log chain to the stump and your bumper and take a good run at it. Better yet, put the chain around the rear end housing.........

Take a 55 gal drum, use a pick & knock some ventilation holes in it and place over stump.
Dump a couple bags of charcoal in drum on top of stump.
Cut a hole in the lid for a dryer vent hose, attach a electric leaf blower on one end, and stick the other end down the hole in the drum about 6 inches.
Light the charcoal, turn on the leaf blower and you will burn that stump on down below ground level, and most of the roots as well.

Rent or hire a small backhoe or excavator and be done with it :-)
