No and it seems like every store or business I have been to lately is asking you to round up.

I give when I know or at least have an idea of what I'm giving to and how much goes to the cause ve nonprofit expenses like salaries.

I prefer to donate to the charity’s of my picking, I wonder if once they donate moneys given do they keep the tax deduction? Say so farm store gets 10k from customers rounding up, they donate that to XYZ charity they get a fat tax deduction, score!

No. I got asked that just the other day. It would have only been $0.01 and I still said no. Prices are sky high already. Every place you go is looking for free money. Even Subway asks for a tip…it’s fast food for crying out loud! NO!

No. I usually use a card so don’t care if it’s a weird number, cash I will sometimes. I prefer to round down but the big stores don’t do that…lol

Never. Charities donated to are checked out before donations are made, not on a spur of the moment decision. Also, charitable giving can be tax deductable but you will need receipts if audited and you have taken deductions. It is much easier to keep good records if you make larger lump sum donations to specific charities.

I wonder if they use that money for emergencies to pay themselves at an electric coop? LOL I do round up for random charities they collect for its chump change anyway it’s not going to break me in any way. Like Hippie Midway always gets a roundup every time.

I have learned over the years to never give to the ones that call you or send you requests in the mail. They make more selling your name to other mailing lists to make even more money off of you.

I use round up on weeds.

I rarely have time to research the charity the $ are going to at the checkout counter.

I remember rounding up the tab on Veterans Day once. It was a DAV deal, kind of a no brainer.
