Beaver Stop OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 Wendell, N.C.	Claudie was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. He is in good spirits as he begins the first round of treatments today.. Many of you will remember him from the otter trapping demos he did at several state and national conventions over the years..Claudie was, "The Man" when it came to otter trapping . He has always been a trapper but he has worn ,many hats. He was the manager of a chemical company, a business owner. commercial fisherman, fur buyer and USDA trapper. Claudie would appreciate hearing from old friends as he fights this terrible illness. Had him come down to do a otter demo at the first NTA SE Regional convention when we started those. Robert Colona poking fun with him at dinner that night had the whole table in the floor laughing, Claudie just played along, lol. Great guy and trapper! Not my circus, not my clowns.

My mom would drive me up to conventions and drop me off, she put a lot of trust in those two I hate to hear that about Claudie. He is a first class man and he has forgotten more about otters than all of us will ever know. Many great memories made at conventions soaking in the information he and Jimmy didn't even know they were giving out. I will make it a point to give him a call Gotta live up to the nickname...

Sorry to hear that about him. Prayers and hope for the best. It's been months since I bought the book, "How To Scam People On Line". It still hasn't arrived yet.
