The Outdoorsmen store in Fargo ND has them at their entrance. Terrible photo though, it’s off google maps…lol
I think they’re just pull handles.

That is more than I could find on the search I did. They look great and I maybe just have to have them as pull handles.

If you are using a house door, just use the guts from a door knob that are hooked to a trap. Off the top of my heat it is just a flat piece of steel 1/4 inch wide or so.

Yep, I'm going to use the guts of a door knob assembly so I should be able to configure it work as a latch as well. I got a couple of old rusty #5 DLS painted black and ready to use them on goth sides of the door.

Thanks MJM

I'm pretty much done with line shack except things I will add over the years. I got the #3 DLS's attached as door pulls. It will keep the water off my back and a place to warm up and spend a night at.

Yep, I like to see outdoors. I can't stand being not to see the outdoors. I'm not a person the likes basements or having the shades pulled down.

You should post it, that sounds really neat.

It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.

I'm thinking it could be modified to operate a gate latch - remove pan and pan post, machine a slot in the frame and flip pan 90 degrees and rig up a pivot mechanism to the back of the frame. Pushing down on the pan throws a the bolt up, allowing door to operate.

That should work Snowy.
On mine I ran the chain and ring through the door so it functions as a "pull" from the inside.

Slydogx, that is kind of what I was thinking and will attempt to do that at some time. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

White, thanks for the help and the awesome picture with history behind it.
