You all will likely have fun with this one. But I'm serious about the question...

So, recently I've found myself helping clean out an estate and included is a rather large collection of fairly well taken care of adult magazines. I assume many are rather old as the guy was 80ish when he passed. I know some have value as I've seen on line there are places that will buy them, but nothing locally. They are destined for a dumpster, unless, you all have an idea of a contact that would be willing to buy the whole pile. No one here is going to sift through them or advertise them or anything of that kind. I figure Tman people know a lot of people and there could be someone willing to give something to add these to their collection or try to sell them for profit or whatever.

funny you bring this up. there were boxes of playboys many in sealed plastic my great uncle had I didn't know what to do with them and are in boxes in the barn..

Rumor had it when I worked at the university library, our collection of PB mag's from #1 to current (2000ish), was the most valuable collection we had. And #1 was equal to the rest of the collection.
I made boxes for them, one year to a box. That took all summer....

I imagine it did take all summer. I'm sure you read the articles and skipped the pictures.

My boss was a 60 plus year old spinster.

When I started teaching I always taught economics. We were attempting to purchase the local theater that had closed down. Back then finding funding was difficult if not impossible. I had every student write to 20 businesses foundations etc to ask for funding. One of the boys thought it would be funny and wrote to Playboy enterprises. We did receive a $100.00 check from Playboy. We did not cash it. Forgot about this til now.

Also, see collections for adult mags on auctions now all the time. With online sites I assume someday these will be of significant value.

Check your Craigslist wanted ads, always someone advertising there wanting them.

You could get rid of them a handful or two at a time
Stick them under the seats of your friends vehicles, it will be fun.

Donate them to the church.

Depending on the year. Type of Magazine. And who’s in it. Determines the value. If you care to shoot me a pm. I don’t need pictures. Just the year and title of the magazine

I was just at books a million an noticed an old guy with a plastic wrapped mag seem to get jumpy when I walked up with the boys. I gave him some room he left with it quickly. then I looked closer yes they still have girly mags at the book store. I should have sold him what's in the garage by the box. guess the old guy has not heard of the internet yet.

You can sell anything on the net, and also get taken thinking you can as well !!

It's amazing how people come up with ideas to see what what they are buying before paying for it, it's even more amazing that the people selling agree to what they suggest, LOL !!

I'd advertise in a area known for selling that, hold on your price as is, no checks or money orders, Bank check only, shipped when clear. Buy as is, pics of cover only if you wished to go that far !

Due some research on them see if any are in a wanted for more or collector interest and beat you buyers to trying to cheap you down. Sell these separate or all in one buy, which would probably sell quicker.

Don't doubt they will sell, but be careful how you receive your funding and how you ship to the buyer, receipt and or insurance, either by you or the buyer, especially on the collector ones if any, I'm pretty sure there is a collector of one or several, lots of them are special to lots of different collectors.

LOL, They won't take them with the pages stuck together!
But, I just Googled " Buyers of Old Adult Mag's," and several outfits turned up. Give it a try.

I was once running my Beagles and found several plastic trash bags full of fairly newish mag's. I guess somebody's wife made him clear out the mancave.

I would at least research any from the 50s and 60s, they could be worth a good bit. Find a local Ebayer to sell them for a commission.
