Ok, please explain to me why I should choose dukes over other traps? I am sorry for being ignorant Because they're simply well built. You don't need to replace chains or swivels or anything on the 1.5 coil for coon trapping. The only thing I do to them is file the dog the way I like it, which is optional. If you want you can set them straight out of the box, grease and all, and catch all the coon your little heart desires.

And crickets from the buke dashers. Good job deceiving the beginners. What do you mean? I think he's talking about the people that come on here bashing duke traps (usually because their foreign made) and therefore discouraging young trappers like you from using a very fine trap. Now, I'm not saying every duke trap is perfect. I wouldn't own their 11s. But many of the Duke traps are very well made.

I can’t bring myself to buy dukes because they are junk! I do not feel like buying new chain for the trap and buying new swivels and all that. My opinion may offend some people and yes I’m a newer trapper but they just aren’t good. There conibears are ok but there footholds are a no. I will say though, there new pro series stuff doesn’t feel to bad I doubt ur opinion is going to offend anyone and yes I have some Duke traps Opinions are like bullets, to pack any punch the have to carry some weight ^^^THIS^^^^^^

Duke 1.5 coil springs are probably the best coon coil spring on the market I dont agree with that.
