Coon don't tend to get out of 160's or 220's, if those are a legal option for you.

Well guys my first no bs 1.5s regular jaws where horrible but I tried out a few no bs dj for some coons and the one had chewed but it still held it and I caught a feral cat by its chest hair, no I’m not even kidding so I am really liking no bs djs but I’m scared to buy some cause my first batch had the jaws popping off when I caught a coon. That's really odd, durability is probably my main reason for buying them. I'm certain you won't have that issue again. Maybe could be an issue with the plain 1.5s though, Ive only gotten the double jaws and k9 Jr's so far.

I think FnT have the Duke 1.5 on special this month. If I was running several hundred for coon then this would be my choice. But I plan on getting a couple dozen of the NoBS 1.5 this fall for no more than I coon trap, I supplement with DP’s and 155’s.

Don't get worried some people use those for fox as there main. Someone down the road uses those for coyotes never had a slip out or anything.
I would buy duke's tho
Or dp traps. I just sold 4 dozen. I don't like coon trapping anymore I think it's boring Never???? Yeah okay one any one using 1.5s specifically for coyotes is not doing so with out issues trust me dudes a liar if he says the word never. OP is looking for sound advice not bull crap. Actually he lives down the road with me and he literally has pictures and I actually went on a ride along once. Not laminated or 4 coiled. He's been using them for years.

Great trap especially at that price

I can’t bring myself to buy dukes because they are junk! I do not feel like buying new chain for the trap and buying new swivels and all that. My opinion may offend some people and yes I’m a newer trapper but they just aren’t good. There conibears are ok but there footholds are a no. I will say though, there new pro series stuff doesn’t feel to bad
