I don't think I got enough of that to make sense of it

you like the idea of breaking it down as a backpack gun

or

you like the idea of it as a gun you are not thinking about breaking it down?

what would you do with a backpack gun , could you take it on the tug and do little hunting wherever they let you off or let you take the skiff?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Oi have no real interest in it as an actual back down survival gun deal . Could care less about that. like it because it's a affordable lil bolt action 5.7 laugh seriously though been wanting a fn 5.7 in a bolt gun for a while now and no one makes them.
Also with it being such a simple break down system you could probably get a host of barrels made for it pretty easy as far as wild catting goes

I mean Ive been really wanting to play with a .17 velociraptor ( 5.7 necked down to .17ca) and this would be a perfect candidate grin ....ugh I need to hurry up and get this lathe.... Why do I have to budget stuff instead of just buying haphazardly laugh

ok hang on for a little bit I hear TC is bringing back the contender , that I think is going to have a ton of barrels , custom barrels , and such available.

I am sure it will cost more ,but if you have to pull the bolt back each time that seems like a manual of arms that would bug me alot
people like to tinker with single shots

it looks like they tried a Waling Varmanteer in 5.7 in 2013

apparently in that era of ammunition unavailability for the cartridge it didn't stick

From what I understand the walking varminter was SUPPOSED to come out in in 5.7 but never happened. Ton of people looking for on right now matter of fact

Been following this gun for a little bit and glad to be seeing more out on it but if it had a magazine and didn't have to manually (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) it I'd have one. Especially since I got my M&P 5.7 I think it would make a fun addition to it. Also I am now reloading this round and it's been a fun experience so far. Just finished sizing and trimming 250 pieces of brass tonight
